Tryouts

How Do You Join Mock Trial?

Tryouts for Mock Trial usually occur within a few weeks after the fall semester begins.  Students must prepare a closing argument based on a fact pattern distributed a week before tryouts.  Tryouts are highly competitive; last year, over 100 students vied for fewer than 20 spots.  However, if your passion for trial advocacy did not bloom in your first week of 1L year, do not despair!  Try outs are open to 1Ls, 2Ls and 3Ls.

The date and time of our informational meeting for Fall 2008 is yet to be determined.  Keep an eye on your Wisconsin email for the 'UW Law School Announcements' during the first few weeks of the fall semester, and check back here for updates.

Trying Out - Fall 2007

Tryouts were held on Wednesday September 19th, Thursday September 20th, and Saturday September 22nd.  The new members can now be seen on the Members page.
