All competition events will take place on or near the Capitol Square in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, and are within walking distance of each other. Please note that if you use an online mapping program to obtain directions between competition event locations, the actual walking distance between event locations may be much shorter than the mapped distance, as most streets in downtown Madison are one-way.
Air Travel
Madison is served by the Dane County Regional Airport (airport code MSN), located at 4000 International Lane, about 5 miles northeast of downtown Madison. Several major airlines fly to Madison, including Northwest, Midwest, United, American, and Delta. Madison is also served by the General Mitchell International Airport (airport code MKE), a much larger airport in Milwaukee, about 90 miles east of Madison. Airfare between the Madison and Milwaukee airports is generally comparable, such that the small amount a traveler may save by flying into Milwaukee may not be worth the 90-minute ride and expense of car rental or bus fare between Milwaukee and Madison.
